Capabilities
Cote Plastics precision tooling ranges from cost effective prototype and short run tools to long-run fully hardened tools. This allows us to present our customers with a cost effective solution based on the projected life/quantity of the part. For the prototype and short run tools, we can produce the tools in aluminum alloys utilizing standard frames. This cost effective approach allows Cote to produce a part that meets the design requirements but does not effect the part quality. Our long-run tools are produced from a variety of steel alloys depending on the design requirements. Our hard steel tools are made with hot runners and are capable of producing parts in the millions. Cote can produce insert molds and has many secondary capabilities, including ultrasonic welding.
